ReplyDeleteInteresting one. I wonder if whoever the culprit is, or whoever is protecting them, will be desperate for George to say nothing and let the court case go ahead. In which case they would be as bad as George originally was.

Well who was it George was after? One minute Jazzer speaking then a door opened and an unrecognisable voice (to me anyway) shouted “well what do you want?” George seemed like he was after Fallon earlier but it didn’t sound like her to me .

There was 'lager' knocking on Jazzer's door and George on Lillian's who opened it: he said Lillian can I come in - he had earlier seen Fallon passing and mentioned it to Amber.

The synopsis has confirmed it was Lilian who answered the door but I hadn’t recognise her voice at all. She sounded a bit like a harridan and I had thought it maybe a very cross Joy. Perhaps I shouldn’t listen late at night! So are we suspecting Lilian or Justin?

As Janice said, Brian is doing the same as George by letting another take the blame.
I was hoping that G was recording the whole account.

I find it hard to believe, I don't think the character involved would act like that.

ReplyDeleteGeorge’s detractors are already accusing him of actual blackmail. I think George was simply stringing Brian along with his talk of compensation and rattling him, for the sake of the recording.
Well I didn’t recognise Lilian’s voice when she answered the door she sounded like a really old harridan (no doubt someone will say that indeed Lady R you got it in one🤣) also I had not suspected Brian and thought it all a bit of a damp squid until George’s recording was revealed. So now what another resident off to prison 🥱 Charles Collingwood will be 83 yrs at the end of May an easing off maybe although he has stated he would like to follow in June Spencers footsteps and stay in the drama very long term 👏🏻 I enjoy the character of Brian and Charles Collingwood as an actor, with both an attractive and recognisable voice!!

ReplyDeleteAnd clever George, making the recording. Does he go to the police with his evidence or use it to blackmail Brian? If Brian is convicted of actual bodily harm, would he go to prison or have to undertake umpteen hours of community service. What an embarrassment that would be - wearing a yellow tabard and clearing litter along the roads of Ambridge! 😂
